A series of 25,000 NFT portraits immortalised on the Cardano blockchain.

Produced to commemorate the notable historical figures, whose names ring throughout the Cardano ecosystem, thanks to their contributions toward the advancement of computer sciences, language and mathematics.

GIROLAMO
CARDANO

Italian physician, mathematician and astrologer. His book ‘Ars Magna’ is regarded as one of the cornerstones in the history of Algebra and one of the three greatest scientific treatises of the Renaissance.

LOVELACE

English mathematician and writer, regarded as one of the first ever computer programmers. She published the first ever algorithm intended to be carried by a machine.

PERCY BYSSHE
SHELLEY

English romantic poet and passionate idealist, renowned for articulating radical political views around social justice, desire and altruism, influencing generations of poets.

MATSUO
BASHO

Japanese poet who abandoned his samurai warrior status, and instead wandered Japan encapsulating scenes with words, gaining recognition as one of the great masters of Haiku.

GEORGE
BYRON

English poet and politician, regarded as one of the most influential English poets. Best known for popular works such as Don Juan and Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage. He was also father to Ada Lovelace.

VOLTAIRE

The nom de plume used by French writer, historian and philosopher, born François-Marie Arouet. He was an advocate of civil liberties, skirting censorship laws for his outspoken rhetoric against the religious dogma and intolerance prevalent at the time.

American computer scientist and researcher known for developing the OBJ family of programming languages, institution theory and the ‘Goguen implication’ used in product fuzzy logic.
